Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz
Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz was appointed Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia in May 2000. She has been with the Central Bank since 1985, in a career spanning several senior positions in the Bank in the areas of monetary and financial policies and reserve management.
During the height of the Asian financial crisis, Dr. Zeti was appointed as Acting Governor on 1 September 1998, and led the Bank Negara Malaysia team to successfully implement the selective exchange controls to restore stability and promote economic recovery in Malaysia.
Prior to her career in the Bank, Dr. Zeti served in the South East Asian Research and Training Centre (SEACEN) from 1979 - 1984, conducting research in the area of financial policies and reform in the South-East Asian region. She has written extensively in the areas of monetary and financial economics, capital flows, macroeconomic management, financial reform and restructuring. Dr. Zeti received her B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Malaya and her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.

President of JPMorgan Chase International
Sir Andrew Crockett is President of JPMorgan Chase International, and a member of the Executive Committee of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Sir Crockett has also served in the past as Chairman of Working Party 3 of the OECD, as Alternate Governor of the IMF for the United Kingdom, as a member of the Monetary Committee of the European Union; and as a Trustee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation.
He is currently a member of the Group of 30, Chairman of the Per Jacobsson Foundation, member of the International Council of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, member of the International Council of the China Development Bank and a trustee of the American University of Beirut.

Tan Sri Dato' Megat Zaharuddin was appointed as Director and Chairman of Maybank on 1 October 2009. He is also an associate of the Royal School of Mines, UK. He has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and was Regional Business CEO/Managing Director of Shell Exploration and Production International B.V (Netherlands) prior to his retirement from Shell in January 2004. His career in Shell included over 16 years of international stints in Brunei Darussalam, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Turkey. He was also Chairman of Maxis Communications Berhad from January 2004 until November 2007. He is currently the Chairman of the Malaysian Rubber Board and Director of the Woodside Petroleum Ltd.

Mr. Jean Pierre Sabourin
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation (MDIC)

Jean Pierre (JP) Sabourin has unparalleled expertise in all aspects of deposit insurance and is very much in demand internationally. His assistance has been widely sought by other countries on establishing and improving their deposit insurance systems. Among his many achievements, he chaired the Financial Stability Forum’s international study and working groups on deposit insurance and the first ever APEC Policy Dialogue on Deposit Insurance. In May 2002, he led the establishment of the International Association of Deposit Insurers and was elected its first Chair of the Executive Council and President, a position he held until the end of 2007. He was employed by Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) from 1976, and held various positions within CDIC before becoming its President and CEO in 1990, until his retirement in 2005. Under his leadership, MDIC is building a best practice deposit insurer. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
